Smashing Pumpkins to give away new album one song at a time
Billy Corgan has begun recording the next Smashing Pumpkins [ tickets ] album, which will be delivered in a variety of "unique and exciting" ways, according to a statement posted at the band's website.
The first of the 44 songs from the upcoming album, "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope," will be available for no charge as a stand-alone digital product beginning around Halloween of this year; each new free tune will be released one at a time shortly after.
