Smith Westerns Sign to Fat Possum

Rising Chicago garage-rock upstarts Smith Westerns have signed to blues-rock label Fat Possum. The Fat Possum website reports that they'll record a new album for the label this summer. The band also has a bunch of shows coming up. Tonight, they play the Pitchfork-curated stage at Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival.
