Never let it be said that AOL's pageview/stomach-churning Web site TMZ doesn't let things like facts get in the way of its stories. Early this morning, the site published a half-literate item insinuating that Shante Broadus, wife of Calvin "Snoop Doggy Dogg" Broadus, was dead in the basement of her house. (There was also punnery.) The source for this claim? An incident report on the California Highway Patrol's Web site that was so obviously the result of a crank call, it's not even funny.
