Songwriter Ellie Greenwich dies, wrote 'Chapel of Love'
Songwriter Ellie Greenwich, who wrote many of the iconic hits of the '60s, including "Leader of the Pack" and "Chapel of Love," has died at the age of 68.
Greenwich suffered a heart attack following a case of pneumonia, according to a report in the New York Times. She had been hospitalized in St. Luke's Hospital in New York while fighting the illness.
