Sonic Youth To Provide Soundtrack For French Cannes Entry 'Simon Werner a Disparu'

To a long-time reader, it might be no surprise that we here at The Playlist love Sonic Youth. The rockers, whose last (and 15th!) album was The Eternal, an excellent reminder of the legacy of noise rock's key founders, are now confirmed to have scored Fabrice Gobert's Un Certain Regard Cannes entry "Simon Werner a Disparu." or "Lights Out," its English title.
