I'm not sure why it took so long, but finally I'm getting an email from Amazon with their sale priced MP3 deals, and the sale item that popped out to me this morning was the Band's Greatest Hits for $6.99. There's nothing particularly fancy about the collection; it came out when Capitol reissued and remastered the first four albums in the group's catalog with 18 tracks spanning the output of its original lineup, but mostly focusing on their debut Music From Big Pink and their self titled album...
