When it comes to the Grammys we seldom think of comedy – unless it’s some on-stage faux pas like Michael Portnoy (aka Soy Bomb) crashing Bob Dylan’s 1998 set or Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder bashing the awards show during his acceptance speech for hard rock performance in 1969. Still, year after year comedians, sometimes-turned-vocalists, take home a golden phonograph and join the ranks of legends from George Carlin to Steve Martin.
