The National Crash the Billboard Album Chart at Number Three

Only a swooped haircut and a middling country act got in the way of the National topping the Billboard 200 this week. Billboard reports that the Brooklyn band-- who have been nothing short of inescapable in the press and online for a couple weeks-- hit number three with their latest album, High Violet, which sold 51,000 copies. Good for them.
