The Roots' Questlove gets funky at Monterey Jazz Festival

Saturday's rock star moment at the Monterey Jazz Festival happened when Roots drummer Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson walked onstage to perform with bassist Christian McBride and keyboardist Uri Caine. The trio is known as the Philadelphia Experiment, and the place was packed, with a line out the door and halfway to Seaside, the next town over.
