Memory Tapes continues his string of recent remixes (including Yeasayer's new single, "Ambling Alp") with his take on the Silent League's ELO cover, "Yours Truly, 2095". ELO's original, from the underrated but totally awesome 1981 LP Time, is a bizarre slice of paranoid new wave-- it's about a dude's robot girlfriend-- but Dayve Hawk's remix plucks out a single line and repeats it over and over, tweaking the pitch and letting it play over a bed of peppy synths and drum machines.
