Thursdays and Covers

In a previous Thursdays and Covers feature I showcased a Beirut cover by Florence And The Machine that received a lukewarm reception. I still maintain that her debut album should be quite the release and will (most probably) live up to all the British hype she's garnered. From all of the material I've heard, pasty Florence Welch reminds me of what would happen if you took the cute eccentricities of Feist and steamrolled them into the raw, bluesy sound Cold War Kids emit.
