Tipping Point's 'Fiction' digs deep into writers and relationships

Stephen Dietz's play "Fiction" opens and closes with the meet-cute moment in which Michael (Aaron H. Alpern) and Linda (Julia Glander), both aspiring writers, argue at a Paris café. He proclaims that the best rock vocal of all time is John Lennon singing "Twist and Shout." She contends that it is Janis Joplin and "Piece of My Heart."
