Slaughterhouse impeccably covers the lush ground between skater punk and surfer psychedelia. It’s got ample drone to start, but remains badass throughout. Segall’s sweet, retro-rock vocals are mostly absent, replaced this time around with lots of screamin’. Pretty appropriate match for the high-speed drums and crashing guitar of this album.
