Vampire Weekend rallies ahead of 'Contra'

New York indie-rockers Vampire Weekend [ tickets ] will embark on a short West Coast tour next month in anticipation of their sophomore set, "Contra." Before taking on California, the quartet with perform an Oct. 8 show in Toronto. The swing along the West Coast kicks off Nov. 2 in Long Beach, followed by seven shows in clubs throughout the state by mid-month. Details are below.
