Last night was the first Country Music Awards I've watched in years—and it made me wish that I had tuned in for the past three years where Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted! This was their fourth year, and they did a pretty bang-up job. Unlike the Oscars or other shows where an unfunny monologue drags on painfully, the eight minutes flew by.
