Despite the recession, the 10th SFJazz Spring Season '” which opens Saturday and continues through June 21 '” is as international and ambitious as ever. The Sunday program features violinist Jenny Scheinman, one of the busiest players in New York these days. She has been touring widely with country music singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell, and has written arrangements for everyone from Lou Reed and Bono to Lucinda Williams, Norah Jones and Willie Nelson.
