Waitress Sues Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat Over Club Assault
So So Def CEO Jermaine Dupri and longtime associate Da Brat have been hit with a lawsuit over an assault that occurred in Jermaine Dupri's Atlanta club, Studio 72.
Shayla Stevens, a former Atlanta Falcons and model, filed a civil lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court, claiming Da Brat struck her in the face with a bottle, causing serious injuries.
The lawsuit claims Da Brat, born Shawntae Harris, has a criminal record and violent past record of assaulting other women.
