Last night, MGMT played a secret show at downtown Manhattan's Mercury Lounge (capacity 250) under the name the Smirking Worm. (Via Sound of the City.) Along with the hits, they played a bunch of new tracks from their forthcoming LP, Congratulations, including the folky, Neil Young-esque title track, a tribute to Brian Eno called "Brian Eno", and the 10-minute epic "Siberian Breaks".
