Women Announce Second Album

Here at Pitchfork, we liked the 2008 self-titled debut from the all-male Canadian post-punk quartet Women enough to put it on our year-end Honorable Mentions list. In a couple of months, the band will follow that one up with a new album called Public Strain. Jagjaguwar will release it August 23 in the UK and Europe and September 28 in the U.S. Flemish Eye will release it in Canada on September 28.
