Yeasayer moves to its own beat

Yeasayer's second album, "Odd Blood" (Secretly Canadian), is a combination of two seemingly opposing worlds: super-size, anthem-worthy pop hooks and elusive experiments in which it's nearly impossible to tell what instrument, or what combination of instruments, is making that weird little sound.
