We kind of love Pitchfork's list of the 200 best songs of the 1970s. Lists like these are next to impossible to compile, but theirs is a very good and balanced mix of the obvious and the obscure, spanning disco, dub, jazz, soul, new wave, punk, yacht rock and more, and you can listen to the whole playlist here.
