Voodoo Festival '08 had more than its share of highlights, including the Dirtbombs, TV On The Radio, another inspired set by an extremely pregnant Erykah Badu, and my personal favorite performance of the weekend, courtesy of the Black Godfather. But the local kid was obviously the big draw this year, and with the setting sun as his backdrop, Weezy delivered an animated and enthusiastic Tha Carter III-heavy set for his adoring hometown crowd.
