Sturgill Simpson and his longtime band have been having themselves a year. The group, now going by the name Johnny Blue Skies & The Dark Clouds, announced the physical-only release of their sex-crazed protest album Mutiny After Midnight with a manifesto of sorts, then leaked it to YouTube a week and a half before release.
