Metheny project embraces robotics

Pat Metheny's gear has finally caught up with his unruly mad scientist hair. An early adopter of new musical technologies since he first gained fame with Gary Burton back in the mid-1970s, the guitarist has thrown himself headlong into a brave new world of robots and mechanical instruments.
